Preseason All-American by Playboy and Lindy’s ... Preseason first-team All-SEC by Athlon Sports and the Birmingham News.

All-Conference selection in 2004, as well as SEC Special Teams Player of the Year. Led Auburn on the ground, posting 239/1,165/12, adding 21/152/1 as a pass catcher and averaging 11.4 yards on 22 punt returns, with 18.8 yards on eight kick returns.

Scored two touchdowns in overtime including the game-winning TD on an eight-yard run in which he outran four defenders to the corner and finished the game with a career-high 202 yards on 40 carries against Syracuse ...40 carries were the second-highest total ever in a game (he holds the record with 41 against Georgia in 2001) ...
